🌿 About Signature Scents by Hand

Signature Scents by Hand was founded by Kabrea Thomas in 2017 in Brooklyn, NY. What started with one fragrance, Yours, has grown into a full collection of plant-based, vegan-friendly perfumes and oils, all handmade with safe, natural ingredients.

Our founder’s journey began in 2016 with countless hours of research, trial, and testing. After learning that many perfumes contain harsh chemicals linked to health risks, Kabrea set out to craft fragrances that were just as beautiful but safer for the skin. Each blend is made with recognizable ingredients and designed to match the individuality of the person wearing it.

At SSH, every scent is unique, personal, and created to be an extension of your style. Beyond our signature collections, we offer fragrance customization experiences where customers can design a scent that speaks to their personality. From selecting notes to personalizing fragrance bottles, we make the process personal and memorable.

We also believe in community and creativity. Through our Fragrance 101 courses, DIY workshops, Let’s Talk Scents IG Live’s and so much more, we invite scent lovers to learn, explore, and craft alongside us. Our brand has been featured in publications like Essence and embraced by a growing family of ambassadors who help us share the joy of clean, handcrafted scents.

At Signature Scents by Hand, our mission is simple: to help you smell good, feel good, and carry a fragrance that’s truly yours.

 

1. Program Participation
 This agreement outlines the terms for joining the Signature Scents by Hand Scent Ambassador Program. The terms “you” or “your” refer to the ambassador (applicant). “We” or “our” refer to Signature Scents by Hand (SSH). This is an independent contractor relationship, this agreement does not create a partnership or employment relationship.

2. Duration
 Your agreement begins once we accept your application and continues until either you or SSH ends it. Termination can happen at any time, with or without cause, by providing written notice.

3. Modifications
 We may update or change this agreement at any time. Continued participation after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

4. Orders
 SSH is solely responsible for processing all customer orders and determining pricing. We reserve the right to reject any order that does not comply with our policies. Currently, we only ship within the United States.

5. Restrictions
 Ambassadors may not promote SSH on sites or platforms that:

  • Contain sexually explicit content

  • Promote violence, discrimination, or illegal activities

  • Violate intellectual property rights

6. Spam Policy
 Spamming or sending unsolicited mass emails is strictly prohibited. Any violation will result in immediate termination of this agreement with no payment.

7. Legal Terms
 This agreement is governed by the laws of New York, USA. Any disputes must be resolved in Brooklyn, NY courts. You may not assign this agreement without prior written consent from SSH.

8. Acceptance
 By signing, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. You also confirm that you are joining this program voluntarily and are not relying on any promises or guarantees outside of what is written here.

9. Compliance

To keep our program fair and rewarding, ambassador coupon codes must only be used as intended for genuine promotions. Any abuse of codes (such as personal misuse or posting to discount sites) will lead to immediate suspension or revocation of ambassador privileges without prior notice.

10. Performance Expectations

To keep our program fair and rewarding, ambassador perks such as free products or commission are only available when ambassadors are actively promoting Signature Scents by Hand. If an ambassador is not contributing as outlined, their benefits may be paused or discontinued.

Ambassadors are also expected to uphold the values of Signature Scents by Hand in all communications and promotions. This means refraining from the use of vulgar or offensive language, racist or discriminatory remarks, or any content that could be considered harmful, derogatory, or inconsistent with our brand’s message. Failure to comply may result in immediate suspension or removal from the program.

11. Products

Please note that as a participant of this program SSH does not provide free samples/product to review. In exchange of this we provide our ambassadors with product at wholesale prices.
